We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineering Innovation Director to lead a large Enterprise QE global Transformation team for one of our Top Tier Financial services organizations. This leadership role will drive change that creates value to our customers through Strategy, cutting edge technology innovation, automation and end to end quality outcomes. The leader will be accountable for leading a large global team of Automation, DevOps and SRE Engineers delivering sustainable testing services outcomes across portfolios. This role will report into the Head of Account and the Head of Quality Engineering Service line.
Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:
- Create impact with cutting edge Quality Engineering solutions and mission critical delivery to our enterprise client on a large global Testing portfolio
- Define an Innovation Charter, Design principles and Innovation initiatives for End-to-End Quality Engineering outcomes
- Manage Innovation and Transformation delivery of QE Services across Functional, Non-Functional & Test Environment, Data Management solutions
- Manage CXO relationships for delivering an Enterprise engagement in a highly rigorous, world class Quality Engineering environment
- Manage Partner ecosystem relationships, product evaluations and technical assessments & collaborate with a wide range of client and peer stakeholders & CoEs
- Provide leadership and direction to the drive Continuous Testing, CI/CD , DevOps & Cloud testing initiatives
- Provide End-to-End test leadership & governance for PoVs and large transformation portfolio across Business groups, Domains and Technology areas
- Specialize in Enterprise Quality Engineering assessments, standards and build Transformation Plans
- Provide insight, thought leadership and innovation to ensure that the QE solution meets the client's business goals
- Thrive in an agile environment and continuously adapt to evolving technology and operations landscape
- Actively contribute to tactical and strategic planning for a diverse range of Testing programs including shift left methodologies
- Drive ownership and deliver to stringent contractual Quality, Service Performance Metrics and Service Level Agreements
- Establish an effective communication plan with senior client and account portfolio stakeholders
- Define and monitor risk and risk mitigation strategies
- Actively coach and mentor a community of Innovation & Transformation Leads and Quality Engineering practitioners
Let's talk about your capability and experience:
- Over 15 years' of leadership experience in IT globally including experience within local Australia industry
- Core software Development and full stack Engineering skills
- Working with large scale Quality Engineering portfolio delivery for Tier 1 customers
- Extensive knowledge and experience in QE methodologies, practices and application to the full IT lifecycle and with multiple delivery methodologies
- Delivery of large Digital Transformation programs leveraging E2E Continuous Testing and automation frameworks
- Leading, motivating, and engaging large teams across diverse skill sets and cultures
- Demonstrable experience of influencing & conflict resolution
- Excellence in customer service with the ability to develop partnerships with key stakeholders and business units
- Ability to design complex QE solutions, automation roadmaps and transformation initiatives across Functional testing, Test Environment Management, DevOps and Performance Testing
- Ability to drive an Innovation culture within the Engineering teams
- Ability to plan and deliver oral and written communications that are impactful and persuasive to the intended audience
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Committed to ethical practice, equity and diversity
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and liaison skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Entrepreneurial by nature with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work in a global, matrix organization with on-shore & off-shore service delivery model and manage large matrix teams
