Let's talk about the role and responsibilities
- Responsible for expanding Financial crime practice in Australia/New Zealand.
- Support Capgemini's clients (banking, insurance, super annuation) in driving solutions to ensure compliance with all relevant AML Laws, Rules, Regulations and Group policies on KYC obligations for Development and implementation of procedures, systems and controls to manage risk associated with financial crime and ensure compliance with current Australian and global AML requirements.
- Drive RFI/RFP responses
- Build Financial crime capabilities
- Leverage Capgemini's Financial Services Financial Crime core capabilities
Let's talk about your capability and experience:
- Degree with minimum 10 years of direct and broad-based compliance experience in the field of AML/CFT.
- At least 10 years of experience in AML advisory and with experience in working in big 4 consulting firm.
- Knowledgeable and sensitive to the risks involved in onboarding various types of private banking clients, including complex structures like trusts, foundations, and private investment companies.
- Expert stakeholder management skills combined with resilient leadership to manage ML/TF risks in an evolving regulatory landscape
- Strong analytical capabilities and risk acumen with focus on risks and typologies related to banking and capital market clients.
- Ability to shape and influence the bank's AML/CFT standards from an onboarding angle and beyond. Work closely with AML Policy team to uplift AML onboarding standards, better meet emerging risks in the horizon and also to ensure new requirements can be operationalized before implementation
- Experience in building and leading a vibrant and diversified team
- Able to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Added edge in ability to embrace new technology or have data analytics/Al experience or skills.
- Exceptional people leadership skills and ability to motivate a large team towards a high-level of performance while not compromising care for their well-being.
- Passionate and finds purpose in pursuing a career in the field of AML/CFT. Forward-looking and possesses a pioneering spirit to carve out new paths to navigate through.
- Possesses change-agent drive and resilience to understand and follow-through on bringing change from current state towards the end- state of AML/CFT transformation.
- Good team player and interpersonal skills to allow effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders in Capgemini and able to work with Capgemini colleagues from different cultures and countries.
- Possesses both strategic outlook and ability to delve into details to drive implementation of key projects, timelines and initiatives.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with people at different levels.
- Professional certifications such as ACAMS preferred. but not a must.
- University degree or higher education.
