Capgemini Testing Service Line provides Testing and related Environment/DevOps services to the various financial clients. This service produces clearly identifiable results, notably the reduction in cost of software development and maintenance by up to 30%, enhanced quality levels, improved time to market, and importantly mitigation of technical and business risks.

Let's talk about the role and responsibilities
As a Test Engineer, you are responsible for the design and development of test automation frameworks, systems and processes and strategies through to the delivery of the Automation agenda, in addition, the position is responsible for creating value by increasing the automation coverage using the available tools and vendor services.
Ideally, you will have strong experience in an Automation or Manual Testing role within the Superannuation or banking industry to be able to effectively deliver in a complex and fast-paced environment. You will have strong experience across various technologies and be comfortable working in an agile environment.
- Create automation scenarios based on business requirements
- Create automation test scripts
- Dry run and execute automation scripts
- Defect logging and reporting status to Automation Lead
Let's talk about your capability and experience:
- A minimum of 3-5 plus years of relevant experience/or good knowledge of Superannuation or banking domain preferred
- Good experience with automation tools like JMeter, Tosca (preferred), Selenium
- Experience coding in C# and/or Scripting Languages like JavaScript, IDE: Visual Studio, Visual Code
- A minimum of 4 plus years of experience in SQL skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and API Management, Atlassian tools like Jira, confluence, bamboo
- Good Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, understanding of Waterfall, Agile Methodology, and Defect life cycle.
- Good experience in developing, reviewing and performing complex automated test scenarios based on software, technical and testing knowledge.
- A diploma or bachelor's degree with relevant industry experience
Advantageous
- Nice to have experience with test/automation and performance testing tools such as Intellij, Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Studio, BitBucket, Git Bash, Postman, SOAP UI, SpecFlow/Cucumber and JMeter.
