Let's talk about the role and responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager with SIM swaps from telecom service providers to private LTE for all tablet users at each site. Estimate approximately 250 to 750 SIM swaps per mine site.
- Create/update implementation plan for SIM swaps, aggregating data from various systems such as Microsoft Intune, AD Groups, Tablet deployment etc.
- Capture tablet and SIM data into a single source of truth system (the database to capture is still to be confirmed).
- Communicate to user groups the scheduled day/time to bring in their tablets for SIM swaps.
- Perform SIM swaps and perform functional testing (network connectivity and basic user apps) on private LTE.
- Maintain daily/weekly reports on site/user/tablet/SIM information.
- Liaise with Mobile Device Lifecycle (MDLC) project stream for any tablet deployment or upgrade issues/anomalies and provide weekly reports.

- Experience in System / mobile / product support expertise
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or similar role
- Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, mobiles, tablets
- Desire to work in an IT support role as part of a small team
- Great problem-solving skills
- Well developed communication skills
- Ability for thorough and critical review
