Job Description
As the Finance & Operations Practice Lead in Business Applications, you will work alongside the Practice Leadership Team responsible for the quality of solutions delivered through the Practice to Capgemini's clients. This role ensures best practice development methodologies and frameworks are adhered to and contributes to maintaining the capability of the national Practice. Your technical expertise will keep you close to the solutions being delivered and your leadership capability will ensure your teammates are learning from your experience..
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of internal and external (both inhouse and out-sourced) consultants & developers to deliver great outcomes for our clients
- Manage the delivery of our solutions to clients, working closely with other Practice Leads, Managers and PMO to ensure successful project initiation, management and delivery
- Contribute to presales activities in conjunction with the Client Development team
- Identify and confirm Dynamics 365 solution options and assess suitability of proposed solutions to determine the impact on the business as a whole and to manage expectations
- Work with project teams and clients to define the critical business objectives, critical success factors and obtained business value
- Ensure technical quality across portfolio. Advise team members as the technical expert across projects, ensuring the solution is of superior quality
- Drive operational excellence within the team, escalating any resourcing, performance or process concerns in a timely manner
- Taking ownership and provide solution leadership to the team
Your Experience
- Ideally you have, or are, leading a team of technical professionals today
- Experience in development, architecture, configuration, delivery of Dynamics 365 F&O solutions and services deployed within Azure to support Dynamics 365 solutions
- Experience from pre-sales to final delivery; ensuring that each solution is appropriately scoped, designed, implemented, and tested to meet our client's business needs
- Confidence working directly with internal stakeholders, clients and partners. Displaying an aptitude for gaining a thorough understanding of their vision will be a huge strength
- A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry, which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present and point of view to a variety of audiences
- Experience with Structured Development and Implementation Methodologies/Techniques such as Waterfall, RAD, Iterative and SCRUM
