Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice we intend to recruit a Data Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. If you are already working in a consultancy role, or have excellent client-facing skills gained within large organizations, we would like to discuss our consultant opportunities with you. This role can be positioned to work from anywhere in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Perth). 

Let's talk about the role and responsibilities: 

• Responsible for the design and oversight of the project involving, but not limited to; 
• Azure Data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Share for ETL
• Support Data architect on detailed design based on high level architecture provided by the client for data integration of structured/semi-structured(file/image file) data from a variety of internal/external source systems using Azure Data services - mainly ADF, Azure Data Share, ADLSGen2, Azure SQL Db, Synapse.
• Perform detailed design based on high level architecture 
• Liase with client architects as well as vendor teams who manage upstream/ downstream systems to create data interfaces to pull/ push data.

Let's talk about your capability and experience: 

• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Share
• Experience in detailed design for data integration on Azure cloud data services - ADLS, SQL Db, Synapse and blob.
• Able to design and develop data integrations with a variety of file types including structured/un-structured data such as image /files and bulky data types.
• Experience in detailed design for data integration on Azure cloud data services
